Talented Collaborations

Working with a vetted team of incredibly talented vendors, we have the capability of offering bespoke kitchen and bath cabinetry as well as the procurement of custom furniture, lighting, window treatments and rug design.

how we work

MCID’S organized and time tested process begins with a virtual initial consultation to evaluate the full scope of work.

Initial photos and measurements are taken and floor plans are laid out. layouts are well thought out and attention is paid to every detail. Furnishings are chosen with the bones of the house in mind and special care is taken as to how the pieces will be used to ensure functionality and longevity.

With new construction or rehab projects, floor plans and layouts are determined first. collaboration and communication with the client, architect, and contractor is critical.

Hard surfaces such as flooring, tile and cabinetry are selected next. Plumbing and electrical specification are determined and fixtures, lighting and furniture needs are specified..

When designing a room Meredith’s process almost always begins with the rug as she feels the rug defines the space and sets the tone of the room. Other times the process may begin with artwork or a design inspiration image.
